Fire Induction We allow fires on our site because camping and fires go together, and we want you to get the full experience and enjoy your stay. Having said that, fire is a big risk on our site and we don’t want anyone to get hurt or the site to get damaged. The risk is so great due to the leaf litter, peaty soil and abundance of trees. An out-of-control fire would at best destroy an area of the site and its ecology, which would take up to 50 years to recover, and at worst destroy the whole site and cause serious injury and death. Having a fire on this site is a significant responsibility and you must agree to treat it with caution and prioritise safety. If you need help with anything regarding a stove or fire, please ask rather than guess.Name of person who is responsible for the fire and will stay suitably sober: Regarding All Fires I'm aware of the Tree Preservation Order and I won't let any of my group damage any living tree.
