Woodsworth Exploring are excited to host the West Yorkshire 25-45 Hiking Group for their 2nd birthday camp weekend!
Dates: Friday 9th June 2023 to Sunday 11th June 2023
Price: £27.50 per person
Includes: Two nights’ camping and a campfire each night
What you’ll need to bring:
– camping equipment (tent/hammock, sleeping bag etc), max tent size is 7m*4m
– cooking equipment & food
– comfy clothing and sturdy shoes for the forest environment
There are dozens of amazing walks in the area, including the famous Bronte waterfalls and Top Withins within a 10 mile loop from the campsite. The historic village of Haworth is less than 2 miles away with cafes, pubs and traditional shops. Oakworth village itself has a Coop local shop for supplies and a couple of pubs and cafes.
Our 10 acre broadleaved woodland is a nearly wild campsite, bursting with wildlife and a haven for nature. We have two rules on site: Do no harm and Leave no trace. As a nearly-wild site, you get the special of feeling in the wild, with the benefits of flushing toilets!
Please note when booking: We have a limited number of parking spaces in our carpark, so car-sharing is essential. Alternatively, if travel by public transport or self-propelled (walk or bike) to the campsite, you’ll earn yourself a Green travel voucher for a discount on your next stay.
