Woodland Pitch - Tents up to 7m * 4m
Arrivals are from 2pm – 7pm. Depart by 12pm on the last day of your stay.
Please note – our pitches take up to 6 people – so please only select 1 accommodation (pitch) unless you have more than 6 people. For groups of more than 6 people, we would politely request that you speak with us first, our number is 07434666527. You can bring multiple tents per pitch, just note the size of the largest tent must be no more than 7m*4m for this pitch type (or if you have smaller tents, please go Back, and choose the 4m*4m option). Tents larger than 7m*4m cannot be accommodated in the woodland.
Groups of under 18s planning to stay without an adult (aged 15-17 years) must review our terms and conditions and have their parent or legal guardian complete a consent form which can be found here: woodsworthexploring.co.uk/consent/
Traditional camping in our 10 acre broadleaved woodland.
Park up in the carpark near the site entrance, then grab your gear and the staff will guide you to a suitable pitch for your requirements. Wheelbarrows are available to help carry your gear through the woods, it’s between a 100m & 400m walk.
It’s back to basics camping here, with a drinking water standpipe, flushing toilets and cold water hand wash sinks in our new toilet block.
Dogs welcome. Fires allowed, see Extras for fire permit and logs pricing. We are doing all we can to improve the ecology of the woodland, so for this reason there is no burning of deadwood allowed, as rotting wood (big logs and little sticks) are fabulous for the woodland ecology.
The area you will occupy will be around 15m*15m, please consider that all of our pitches include trees. This means that the maximum tent that can fit on this pitch is 7m*4m. Please note, the woodland floor is not perfectly level, though it is how nature intends it to be.
Each pitch starts at £29.50 per night and includes 2 people and 1 car parking space.
An extra adult is £6.50 and an extra child is £3.25 per night, up to 6 people in total per pitch.
